Ryan Baker (Head Guide) - Nicole Morin - Brett Wimsatt - Bob Visicaro

As a professional fishing guide, Ryan has become well-known and respected throughout the Adirondacks and Lake Ontario Tributaries. After years of experience fishing these waters, Ryan developed his own unique and effective methods for putting fish in the boat. Ryan focuses on getting you prepared and ready for a fun day on the water. Whether it is jigging for Lake Trout or fly-fishing for Salmon and Steelhead on the Salmon River, he covers it all! Ryan Baker is also a Paul Smith’s College graduate with a three-topic model Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Conservation, Fisheries & Wildlife, and Forest Ecological Sciences. In addition to his extensive fishing skills, Ryan is an avid birder with a comprehensive knowledge of Adirondack ecology and backcountry. He has worked as an avian researcher and bird bander, and has contributed to fisheries research in the North Country. Ryan is Certified in NYS water safety, NSC CRP, NSC First Aid, skilled in the use of boats and canoes

Nicole Morin is a Certified Interpretive Guide through the National Association of Interpretation and is a full-time biologist at The Wild Center of Tupper Lake, NY. She is a graduate of Paul Smith’s College with a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies focused on Ecological Forestry Management and Natural Resource Management and Policy. Nicole coordinates interpretive natural history experiences through immersive back country expeditions with the goal of inspiring others to engage in conservation science.

Brett Wimsatt is a graduate of Paul Smith's College, majoring in Natural Resource Management and Policy. Brett works for the Adirondack Watershed Institute as the Decontamination Program Manager, where he helps to protect our region's lakes, ponds and rivers from aquatic invasive species. He is an avid fisherman and hunter who loves nothing more than to be on the water or in the backcountry. Whether he's ice fishing for Northern Pike, trolling for Lake Trout or scuba diving for invasive species, it's a safe bet you'll find him on the water! Brett is certified in Solo Wilderness First Aid, Solo CPR, NH Boating Safety, and NAUI SCUBA. 

Bob is a graduate of Paul Smith's College with a degree in Natural Resource Conservation and Management. Bob is an Adirondack 46er and enjoys his time in the woods or on the water. He is also a member of the Paul Smith's Bass Fishing Team. Bob is a Solo Wilderness First Aid Responder, trained in Solo Professional CPR and NYS Water Safety.
